Kitty A GoGo™ was founded in 2003 by a designer/former clothing buyer and a medical design engineer. They found the challenge of finding a functional and attractive litter box to place in their home quite difficult! It seemed that so little style and variety was available to cat owners - unlike the dog accessories on the market.

The opportunity of integrating the cat accessory market with the current explosion in the home decor market offered huge possibilities. After all, an American Pet Products Association survey numbers feline pets in the United States to be approximately 90.5 million. And, let's face it, the human customers are the ones choosing, looking at, and purchasing animal products for their beloved pets.

And so, the idea of a decorative, whimsical, and functionally innovative cat litter box was born. Working with three industrial design firms in the Southern California area, the concept of the "pull-out litter tray drawer" was developed along with interchangeable printed hood designs.

In 2010 Kitty A GoGo™ was acquired by Automated Pet Care Products, Inc. (makers of the Litter-Robot™). Automated Pet Care Products, Inc. has always had a focus on product function, quality and customer service.
